Dear friend,
This is our monthly
email to you with some key dates for your diary.
May Council and MEP elections
In May we have elections
for London Members of European Parliament (MEP) as well as election for our
local Waltham Forest Councillors. Both elections present us with the
opportunities to raise with the candidates the issues of Palestine and enquire
what their position is.
As a part of a national
campaign we have emailed all MEP candidates a questionnaire which you can find,
together with the MEPs’ emails list on our website.
We will soon be writing
to all candidates for Waltham Forest councillors – please check our website for
the text of our letter.
You could use those
letters to do the same. The more of us do that, the more our representatives
are going to be aware of the strength of feeling about the Palestine in Waltham
Forest and of our determination to ensure that our opinions on Palestine are
represented.
